My copy of the Ibis LD stem with a few modern touches. For 1.125" steerers, countersunk hole for compression bolt, tighter 3" radius bend.

    Macro Thursday:

I love finished drop outs, here is my personal take on how it looks:

The next one is a local girl which is always fun:

The never ending organization bug. White oak shelves to help get stuff where it belongs:

New bridge mitering tool that will eventually be part of another fixture that goes in the frame for installation:

    Cheers,

Built this one up over the weekend. Pego-Richie tubes and sachs lugs make a sweet combination. My goto choice for materials. Since then, sinus infection has a hold of me.

It's been an odd week- lots of little projects going.

A busy week in Bozeman - a coupled fillet traveler, a straight up road race bike, new parts in stock and lots of cool stuff to see on dirt road rides.

Kevin's dirt road bike. Signed, sealed, delivered.

Started Neil's road bike. He's serving our country in Iraq right now and will have this waiting in his garage upon his return in a few months.

I've taken a minute to upload a couple of pics, which doesn't happen as often as it should.

    A current repair. Before...

    Durring...

Still durring. In the mean time the repair has cured and been clear coated but I wasn't satisfied with the clear (pin holes) so I'll have to do it again.

The new vacuum pump I made. Pulls 98% in 2 stages.

Chainstay protector with the customer's slogan on it.

Finally, repair of some damage caused by clamping the FD on too tight.
    Cheers

Finally strong enough to get back to the bench after 2.5 months. Thought I'd start with stems first, bit rusty but feels good getting back into the swing of things.

Since our friend Ira Ryan doesn't post in these parts I thought I'd put some pictures up of his shop. We met Tony P and Ben Leonard over there and talked tools, beer, and bitched about the high price of silver (prices are dropping!).

Thank you to Suzy, Velorini and everyone here for inspiration and advice, and to Dazza for the beautiful lugs and forkends.

And a big thanks to Suzy for the fantastic paintwork.
