that paticular bike was for one of FTW's customers- and it came out pretty good.

the customer wanted a track frame with gears, and wanted the frame to look like an 80's Cannondale track, and internal cable routing, polished welds, etc.

FTW or Eric at Ground-Up are two dudes that would be great to wack out a project like that.

I have an issue with my HAVOCSTAFF .........rear derailleur cable popping out of cablestop on head tube. I replaced the ferule on the cable housing and so far so good. But I'm considering new cablestops..........weld on or rivet on, not sure. Anybody else experience this ?

A tight fitting ferrule should do the trick. I had jagwire cables and ferrules on mine for a couple years without issue. Put in Yokozuna with undersized plastic ferrules and they both popped out. Replaced the ferrules and all is good again.

My F-Der stop works fine, the rear pops out. I went through every ferrule I could find...ended up using super glue. A little extra housing helped as well.

I briefly owned a Havocstaff and had the same issue with the head tube cable stops. The solution seemed to be superglue.

    What cables were you using?

I've gone through a few sets of Jagwire Racers on my HavocStaff without any issues at all. In fact, I had to use a screwdriver and a hammer to tap out the ferules the last time I changed the cables. It wasn't until I put on the Yokozuna cables that I had the issue. Maybe the Jagwire ferules are oversized.

I see it announced today that Spooky is back again. What has transpired in the last 2 years?

There's more information in the Spooky gallery thread, but still very little is known. FTW is doing the welding, but most of the details are vague.

FTW is building the whole thing the only thing the same is the builder and the name. Mickey has moved on.

Just reviving this thread, as would be keen to hear from anyone that has ridden a Mulholland or Dune from the latest incarnation of Spooky... What is the ride and build quality like?

I'm re-reviving this thread as I heard Spooky was sold and is now based in Scottsdale(?). If it's true, the shop guys that bought it are a decent crew from my limited interaction with them and I look forward to seeing what they do with the brand.

I saw a most awesome looking purple Spooky in Manhattan about a week ago. I said to the guy "Nice Spooky" or something equally moronic as the light changed. Looked brand new or at least incredibly cared for with new bits. If someone here has it, would love to see it again.

Another new owner since the 2016 revival? or did they just move from the PNW?

A friend bought a Mulholland last summer. He really digs it. I've been racing a Skeletor for the last 4 seasons and it's been great.
