    Every Tuesday night this summer.
Show around 7, racing starts closer to 8.

Good cheap food and drink at the bottom of the course, and, unfortunately, me on the mic.

In case mickey reads this before anyone else... or if someone out there knows the answer...

I have a stock Havocstaff with the hooded drops. My derailleur hanger is toast. I need a new one quickly... big rides planned in a couple days.
It is identical to this one, by appearance: Making the crap people want.

I ordered the closest looking thing off derailleurhanger.com, but I don't see anything identical. All help appreciated :)

Mickey hooked me up with a new hanger, working hard to do it quickly.

In return, I hooked my spooky up with some new wheels, and rode it up a big dirt road.spook.jpg

I have been following the threads on the newer aluminum frames here and on other groups for the last couple of years and had my interest piqued by what many were saying. I exchanged emails with several builders to try to learn a bit more about current aluminum technology. I have been riding carbon frames for the last few years (a C50 and 2 new Madones). I ran across a used Spooky Skeletor in my size for a very fair price and said why not.

I finally got it built up and have ridden it a couple of times (flats and climbing). I am stoked by the bike. It is very responsive, climbs easily, descends as if it is on rails and is relatively smooth and comfortable (which surprised me after my early 80's Cannondale experience).

Good aluminum has a new fan!

    Mickey,
What's the chance of Spooky building a 24" or 26" cruiser for me to roam the neighborhood jumping curbs and hartwigging garbage cans?

I'm guessing you'd need to cough up about $1200-1500 for a frame so that we don't lose money on it.

    BUT:
FBM could make you something rad in steel starting at $620.
Don't know how they do it so inexpensively, but they do.
