I have been playing with the idea of a Willy's Pickup.... I have no idea why. I just like the look.

Prone to overheating, unless properly caressed. Makes good sounds.

My co-worker out in California has one, I have not ridden in it. He's a pretty sharp engineer so if you have any questions I could certainly ask. He has owned his possibly since new or shortly after.

I was going to rant here about how terrible the BMW X4 and Audi Q3 are and I just "accidentally" deleted it out of respect for the other things they do well. But they are. Ugh.

Porsche is becoming ever more mainstream in the products they produce. Not saying this is you, but I'll bet this draws in a lot of buyers who have no idea how expensive these things are to maintain. Maybe it all comes out in the wash with higher re-sale values.

I think he means one of these:

Pantera Cars and Merchandise for sale
"As an homage to the EPOdays of yore- I'd find the world's last remaining pair of 40cm ergonomic drop bars.....i think everyone who ever liked those handlebars in that shape and in that width is either dead of a drug overdose, works in the Schaerbeek mattress factory now and weighs 300 pounds or is Dr. Davey Bruylandts...who for all I know is doing both of those things." - Jerk

The whole Audi Q series is just Big Gulps for the moneyed masses as far as I'm concerned. Of course I thought my 5000 Quattro was unnecessarily large and fancy.

Have you seen the new Q7? Looks a hell of a lot like an A6 wagon.

All SUVs are slowly turning into wagons. Look how each generation of the CR-V has evolved, for example.

    that is what i mean
these things still seem undervalued to me, but they are hard to find locally and i am always blown away how different all these old cars can feel from either one another or what you might expect. need to find one to drive.

512tr was amazingly good for its age, but BIG
maranello was like a modern v8 vantage, a compliment, but in that respect kind of ordinary
chevelle ss 454 was an absolute blast and shockingly tight / well screwed together
plymouth roadrunner is a goddamn mess ... four turns of the wheel to take a gentle curve, no brakes

the search continues. pantera seems like a great way to show up at a disco to do some blow

You said what I was thinking. Scarey.
Now you are talking. Why not a YENKO Cannonball tribute Camaro 427 if you are so inclined. Buy them all day for less than that Pantera.

So like the reverse of what's happened to the Outback?

Not sure how they drive, but you'll be looking at an interior that I've always found disappointing. At around $100k, Gallardo's can't have much farther to fall. Talk about blow at the disco.

    oooohhh i like your style
a friend has a camaro resto-mod that someone blew a ton of money on to build. convertible though, kinda kills the lines.
but i like the menace of the chevelle more than the prettiness of a pony car. forgot - as pony cars go the challenger is also a great car to drive.

i ADORE driving the gallardo for a couple of hours. after that though, i'd really, REALLY rather be in something... less. but i totally agree - hard to see a sexy V10 going too far below 100k.

When I hear Yenko, I'm thinking white Corvair with blue stripes and about 240hp.
