+1 on the 2nd comment. The resale market must be great in Cambridge. I sold my 2001 VW Golf TLS 1.8 Turbo w/ 88K on it for $4400 3 years ago and people around here love those cars considering they are very popular with the crowd here in So Fla.

That Grand Cherokee will handle like a pig vs. the x5 when pushed. The gap is narrowing, but it's still there.

I sold my '00 TL w/145k on it in late 2011. I feel like its ghost is following me around...

dumb question for yall. do you drive your cars until they implode? or buy another used one when there's still money to be gotten for your current whip.
ive got a 05 ford escape with 158k mi, could probably get $4500, just put $620 into it via tie rod and wheel bearing; goal is for a retired company car forester from my dad's company for about $14.5k w/65k mi
if some poor fool will give you $4500 for an escape with 160k on the clock, take that money and run away.

Chrysler reveals 707 horsepower Dodge Challenger - Jul. 2, 2014

Chrysler introduces the Dodge Challenger, which in this case is actually an SRT. Many confusing.

well, i mean, KBB said $5500 for a good condition version of what ive got, which it is, so i was knocking a little off.
i guess ill drive it into the ground.
    thanks!

    (i sold my 01 escape with 200k and a shot brake system/busted radio/busted moonroof for $1k in '12, so $4.5k seemed reasonable)

We owned that car. They last until you get tired of them. Makes a terrific sawmill too.

The guy says he's a DIY enthusiast, and then makes the point that the hatch wiring works. I'd tend to believe his claim then! Because on every 245 I've ever seen...the hard plastic door pockets are cracked, and the hatch (central locking) wiring is shot.

He also says the AC works, which is how I know he's full of shit...

I did the hatch repair on a 245 cause it wouldn't pass inspection without the 3rd brake light.

My wife had a maroon '86 with four on the floor when I met her. I am ha-ha-only-serious trolling for one like that in anticipation of having a teen driver in the house. Would prefer one of the 89-92's with driver's airbag, but may end up not being that picky.
