Dave…somewhere in my photo library, I have a pic of a car in Rome that was essentially held together by Gorilla tape…at least the tape matched the rest of the car, as only an Italian fashionista might do.

Back when I drove a Honda Civic hatchback we were in Italy and I saw one parked among the city cars and it looked like a GMC Yukon would parked next to my ride. I laughed and laughed.

I had a similar experience encountering a Fit in Paris. It looked mid-sized in that context.

A Parisian Uber driver picked me up in a new BMW 7 series. It was like an ocean liner in that traffic.

Today’s ride around out East in Long Island made me pass some red and white oldies.

Looks like it might have a LED headlight conversion. No camper pop-top is an advantage imho.

Presence of side marker light on doors and location of parking light under headlight suggests '70-'72. I don't know how to tell them apart within that range.

My Google-fu has completely failed so I'm throwing this out here. Seen, as pretty much the last vehicle on the lawn, at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum a couple weekends back.

    What is this?

^^^ I don't know, but I'm pretty sure one of these, or something a lot like it, drove past me on the Greenlake ring road this summer. It made me feel like I was watching Space 1999 again.

My first guess would an Airstream from the mid 80's early 90's. Very cool looking.
