Your friends drive very different cars than my friends. When we get together it's just a bunch of Subarus and Jeep Grand Cherokees. Sometimes people forget which one is theirs.

Congratulations on being the 1,497,183rd person to make this "joke".

It was a Turbo. Sticker was about 165.

Adjusting the drive mode - range, standard, sport, sport plus, etc. - also adjusts the power output.

So in standard, for instance, it is my understanding from the salesman that there is basically no difference in acceleration between a 4S, Turbo, and Turbo S.

As someone who drives an S2000, and is perfectly OK with "slow car fast" or at least "quick car fast" driving philosophy, the Turbo (and probably the 4S) are way faster than they need to be.

Only one, perhaps two of those cars are inside the lines.

    And they're not BMWs.

    We owned the parking lot

If there was not a McLaren in the middle Porsche could use this as a promo shot of some sort.

    Just saw this on autoweek

The S29. From Japan with Love.

Could even the most die-hard subie fan justify $65K for this?? Matt, can you get one so we can determine the answer to this?

And am I alone in saying I'd rather pay that much for something that looks more like the S201 from the 80's than the current tired body style?

I’d love to drive one, but I doubt it’s 50% more fun than my STI to justify the price. On the other hand, even at that price there aren’t many cars out there that are as much fun. Wanna go halvsies?

I’m itching to see the 2021 revealed. Rumor is that the horsepower jumps to 400.

I dunno, I can think of a lot better things to do with that kind of quan. But yea, the refresh is long overdue. I'm curious to see what is in store.

I get many of you need to feed your Euro car fix, but some of us like things made here and I love both of these things. No I did not have the IF made for the car, just a happy coincidence. Both tick the boxes that make me...well me.

^^^ I like that car in Forza. Not much for the corners, but a boss when the track is straight.

My first WRX was an early 2000s wagon. Loved, loved, loved that car. That body shape with the STI performance would be amazing.

Is the 2021 a clean sheet design? For what they cost, the interiors seem pretty dated.

My cars were made in 1999 and 2003, so no screens, just lots of buttons. I'm happy with that. But if I'm buying something new, I want it to look new.
