When do we get a video of you doing a smoky burnout in the parking lot of the DQ?

Dashcam still of 6 passengers faces when you take flight over a slight rise. Good suspense is almost all of the way to good suspension.

F150 Supercrew (4 door) Lariat with the eco boost V6. I live in Texas. Leather interior, air conditioned seats, satellite radio, the works. On road trips I get 21 mpg and 18 around town. I think 360 horsepower from a 211 cubic inch engine is awesome.

BigBill, funny you posted that. Just picked up a 2015 F150 4x4 Lariat Supercrew yesterday for the work fleet. 2.7 ecoboost.

Holy jeebus have these things progressed. It's actually decent to drive. The 2nd row seat is limo-esque. The "little" displacement engine propels it more than sufficiently. We got this as an around town/daily driver so the guys could experience "the most popular vehicle in America".

It makes our 2009? Ram 2500 cummins tow rig feel prehistoric.

this is turning out to be an awesome farm truck
thought it was never gonna rain again and regretted the 4x4
but it's been raining way too much lately and turns out it was good to have 4x4

drove out to the farm to get wood and attend picnic
time spent tuning the carb was worth it, got 13.7mpg on the way out cruising 60-67mph..with the 36x12.5 bias plies in the pic (and full time 4wd)
can get better still, back right into a small creek to throw in the bed, pulled right out with no problems at all
also pulled some new 4x4 truck outta the yard coz his 4x4 with street tires was useless in the soggy grass

have plenty of post oak to burn in the smoker now..and it splits easy too

starting to like this truck, think i need to hunt the junkyards for a good roof to weld in...

I saw a Mini yesterday. Not one of the new ones, but a real honest to god Mini. Right hand drive and it looked like a toy. I would freaking love to have a real Mini. I have ridden in one a few times and they're a blast.

A beautiful old-mini passed me on my ride today too. That's my wife's absolute dream car so if I was a wealthy man...

I miss my 323 GTX something fierce. More fun per dollar than anything else I've owned. I had a low compression 1.6L Miata short block (9.0:1, from the automatic car) and a storage unit full of parts I'd hauled back from Denver sitting around waiting for me to get off my ass and do something. Ended up blowing a head gasket, storing it 20 miles away from home, and then selling it to a girl for a GRM Challenge car. She ended up making it to the 2010 event with it (my old GTX is on the left, her 2006-2007 Challenge GTX is on the right):

Selling off the last of the parts was fun. Most of them went to a guy who drove down from eff-ing ONTARIO, picked up a GTX rolling chassis in Grand Junction, then over to SLC to pick up my parts (filled that car and the entire bed and back part of the cab of his truck) before he headed back. Also, selling the last spare transmission to a guy and helping to load it into the passenger seat of his FD RX-7.

How's the bed protection? My only regret with my old truck--I sold the shell but never got a bed liner. Hello rust.

the bed seems fine, no liner, some surface rust but nothing crazy. i don't let stuff that will hold moisture sit in it long (dirt, rock or wood) and i drilled some holes at the front so standing water will drain.
i'm in texas so stuff gets nice and dry pretty quick...

Yeah, that was during the development testing for the 2014 WRX and STI, so we were using a BRZ along with the C63 and I think a 991 Carrera S.

    It didn't suck.
