Default A little light on the subject

What do you do with half a crankset,a cracked hub,and an old 6 speed corncob? You go to Lowes and buy a light kit and once again prove to your wife the depths of your cycling sickness.

    Nice!
Please tell me that rotating the freewheel turns the light on and off.

My mom made this lamp in the late 70s. Beats the pants of Ikea . . .

That would really compliment all the parts and tools I currently have laying on the bar downstairs. Were did you find the shade?

    Frankwurst,

Shade was made from a tracing off of a coffee cup I had lying around and colorised with some water color pens

Very nicely done Jay. I was hoping more for a "You can get one at....." Maybe Mrs. Wurst has the skills needed to pull this off. I'll build the lamp, she builds the shade and is happy bike parts are laying around doing something other than being bike parts laying around. Thanks for the Info.
