Surprise Xmas present for a Salonista.

Matt's Lumberjack slapped-together wrong-forked rattlecanned Max-tubed Franklin County daily driver.

My 30th birthday present now on a truck with some bar tape and a -17 heading to points south...

Once you see this guy, you're almost done.

This thing was a bit of a chore but it was the fork I'd drawn so it was the fork I built.
Weeks later, it is finally safe from any more fiddling from me at another local builders powder coat operation.

I don't quite know what to call the crown design but the legs ended up snapping together like rifle barrels before it was welded. Brazing would probably be a quicker and more suitable method for joining the parts, live and learn I guess.

This is to go on a track bike with a prudent front brake for a post grad student at the technical college in town. Still have another step in the paint process before it is delivered with a wet spray to add depth and detail work, really excited to finally have something with more than a workhorse finish on it rolling around in 2011.

    Happy holidays from Medford, Mass.

Just got some heavy duty tubes to play with for a project and just lost all patience with trying to get these images to post right so here is the silly link. True Temper Super therm to keep me warm this winter.
