    Default Paragon FD Mount

They look pretty cool. Just added one to an order.

    Anyone use one?

I haven't used a Paragon mount but I have machined my own and made a fixture for them. Anything else you want to know?

I've had one on a frame for a few months. Dead easy to install, silver soldered on. Simple to align, weighed 33g/1.16oz. I wouldn't bother making my own to save perhaps 20 grams.

The lower picture is of the derailleur being checked for clearance, with 29 x 2.25 Racing Ralph tyre and 430mm/16.9" chainstays. There was about 5mm from tyre to the cable mech part of the front derailleur.
    Cheers,
