Innova Large Breed Puppy. Some people insist that dog food doesn't matter, but I feel better not feeding him crap. I suppose, though, if I saved the money I spend on good dog food I could send him to Disturbed for some real training.

We are trying to transition....Right now California Naturals salmon and sweet potato along with a dollop of natural grass feed beef from the cattle lady 20 miles south of here. Kind of obvious we have no children eh?

My 2 GSD's get Hills Prescription Z/D ultra kibble, Taste of the Wild salmon and EVO Duck can food.
For snacks they get either a shih tzu or a pug.
For thier birthday desserts they get toy-poodles

I've got a chocolate lab with a really sensitive stomach. I tried all the store and boutique brands and finally found something that works: Science Diet Sensitive Stomach.

Excellent guard dog. Owner cannot afford to feed him anymore, as there are no more drug pushers, thieves, murderers, or, molesters left in the neighborhood for him to eat. Most of them knew him as "HOLY SHIT!!!"

What I feed sucks and will kill a dog sooner or later. It doesn't have bananas in it. Problem is, hundreds of dogs have eaten it at my kennel for over 18 years and have done very well on it. 30% pro 20% fat.

People feed to much and want to see their dog eat all the time hungry or not. Hey, if it's working for you/your dog, rock on.

PS Find a vet that recommends something they don't sell.

He gets kibble. Supplemented by brown rice, that he prefers to the kibble, lots of baby carrots, that he prefers to the rice. Not to mention as many lizards as he can catch out in the yard.

I have a long haired Dachshund that was getting Royal Canin (Teckel) Dachshund specific food. I recently switched her up on Science Diet small breed... it had a dachshund on the package. She seems to be staying little leaner on the Science Diet. She is not a picky eater and I do keep her as active as I can to avoid the overweight issue. Very good dog... pretty stout and solid for their size.

our mutt, lucky dog is 19+ --- brown/wild rice, boiled/poached eggs and -- some lochs then and now with a dab sea salt.... 19+ years --- found him under a junk pile 16 years ago... luv the little guy and he is still a man...
