Sweet! Any chance it works with the DeWalt battery packs?
Wishful thinking there. Reality likely low to none.

    Thanks!

it's still listed on the design page but it's really not a big part of what we're making these days. the bulk is:

    steel skinny tire bikes
fender/fat tire bikes in steel, alu, ti for 57mm calipers
randonnee bikes using paul racer brakes

    thanks for noticing...

Default gonna try this cross thing this year

I hope this bike will be up to the task.

Custom (not for me) GT in fillet-brazed steel by Dave Tiemeyer. I'm told there were only about a dozen or so of these made, most for the saturn team at the time--McCormack bros, and Alison Dunlap I think? Anyhow, I really like the ride. Reminds me of a road bike most times I'm on it. Accelerates quicker than I expected for a cross build. Maybe there's some actual mojo in that dual triangle design...

How did that disc setup workout long term? I mean did it make the frame do weird things? It looked/looks badazz.

andy hasn't used the bike a whole lot so there isn't much long term to talk about - but he liked the discs just fine. we beefed up the fork blades but not the rear end to compensate for the disc brakes.

martin, who builds most of our lugged frames, has been riding discs on his tournesol commutuer. he's not overly wild about them: fussy, and a pain to install/remove the wheel.

    but they look cool...

Since my cross bike is also my commuter I had to make some changes to make it race-worthy. I installed some new cables, tape, tires and a saddle to hold me over until my new Zank finds it's way here.

I really like that rig. looks fast, probably why you had to lock it up so it wouldn't fly away!

My bike? Awe schucks.. I always liked the way it looked, especially with the green rubber. I ride it to work every day and to the super marche.

Green Michelin Jet. They don't make the green anymore. It's not so good for gravel, but it works on a fast stable course like dirt or grass.. I just tried the Maxxis Larsen Mimo, and found it to be a pretty nice riding tire. It hooks up well, like a Hilton sister. My favorite ever clincher is the Michelin Mud.

My new bike. Most of the time it wears fenders, dynohub, and Jack Browns, but here it is in cross mode. I haven't figured out if I'm going to race this year, but we'll see.

pre-flame disclaimer... The tires came on the wheels... I'm waiting for some fangos for them.
