Looks great! I noticed most of the recent bikes have been filed and polished. How many percent of your bikes are non-file nowadays?

    None!

It was a dead end project, sadly.

I know I'm crazy, but all I saw was flaws.

    "Damn…….I should polish that out"

I can do a near perfect no-file fillet, but with MTB's with longer ATC's I want a big, big fillet holding that head tube on.

I guess I struggle in my mind on bikes with "Is this the best I can do?"

And a no-file bike just isn't finished in my mind.

I was in that mindset of "I want to offer cheaper complete bikes" but upon exploring that I decided it would be a non profitable time suck, sadly.

The seamless beauty of a fillet brazed mountain bike is what got me into this, I don't want to build otherwise - I think allot of people try allot of far out things looking for their muse - well, I've found mine mostly…….I still have a few itches to scratch, when time and money allows.

    Does that make sense?

And just to not leave anyone out, taking orders from 1/1/15 to 1/15/15.

    Any questions, ask away.

    Thanks!

that's the way I feel about frames, one good reason I don't make my living building them. I think if you braze a near-perfect fillet that you should reap the benefit by not having to spend as much time polishing.

Ah, the payoff of hard toil……….so overlooked by so many nowadays, everyone wants to be an instant expert, but that just doesn't happen in the real world, now does it?
