Nice tan! I crashed in Gainesville for a night the last time I drove up to North Georgia and got in a great ride before hitting the road for the rest of the trip.

Hell yeah better looking! What are tools? That's why I have you (to build me a bike) and my brother (to build it up for me). I bring the beer...but then have a hard time opening it with your thing you fashioned.

I am in again man. You know it. Good times had by all. Cruising campus brought back so many memories. Thanks Jonathan.

Cruising campus had me straining my nascent tandem-handling skills, quietly cursing JG while laughing out loud at the ridiculous low-speed turns we were negotiating. So much fun!

One thing I haven't mentioned - seeing all those Jonathan Greene Cycles in one spot. The man can build a bike. And the new TIG frames look just as proper and well-crafted as the lugged frames.

Thanks David. Weeks and weekends like we had have me realizing that I'm neither a loner or socialite. I really enjoyed being the host and look forward to doing it again.

Ps, I knew you were cursing the sidewalk figure eights at UF. that was fun. I obviously haven't matured much since University.

Update time. This was a fun frame for me to build. I usually find some solitude when I build a frame so it was a nice change to document the process and think outward. This is how one of my frames are made. Enjoy.

I had a few moments to archive some thoughts about frame building and put them here.

Fellow Telai-ista Todd Farr has been using his cad skills to render some tooling ideas I've been rolling around in my head. Thanks Todd.

Hi Jonathan, do you have any pictures of this frame built up? Did you build any others with the same tubing and fork?

I built this for me so its remarkable I don't have any. I built it to see how I liked max sized tubes. For me, I ride what you may call a 53cm frame, I still prefer regular OS. I have built some larger bikes to positive reviews but I've been using the Sax Max lugset because the distribution is better and I really like the aesthetic. I also prefer the Uber sized 27mm fork blades and Sax Max crown.

    Thanks, I hope that helps.

Look what showed up. If you've got a frame with my name on the downtube be sure to hit me up or stop by for a bottle of Nix Frix Shun. After using this stuff earlier in the year I mentioned to Josh I wanted to comp my clients a trouble free and silent chain. he made it happen.

I need to do one of those cliche what's up posts, but I don't have the heart for being unoriginal today; maybe tomorrow. In the meantime I need to put a stake in the smoked out ground, so I offer this. Ill admit that being on the newer side of the longevity scale I've struggled with my own value and the inability to say no. I'm at the point that i mostly I do what I want and try not to be apologetic about it.
