Any why I have not regularly been wearing my recognizable/expensive watches for about 2 years and am considering selling them all. We have had a few recent brazen watch thefts even in the sleepy/boring area that is called the Upper East side of Manhattan/NYC. It's a shame because for more than 25 years (circa 1994 to 2019), I wore my 16570 Rolex Explorer II Polar every day and even all over the world.

I would like one of the old Rolex Tiffany faces.

Sotheby's had a watch auction on the 12th. You can still see the online catalog, and if you have a login account, you can see the results.

    Patek's are always nice.

Best watch line I've heard in a while came from my neighbor while lamenting his hard to read watch.

Either date wheels/windows/displays are getting smaller or I am getting older (or maybe both) but this is my new favorite diver without a date function.

That's great. I have two submariners. One with a date and one without. I much prefer the one without. The only reason I don't sell the one with the date is that it's green.

There is never a reason to sell a hulk.

Hulk really is pretty damn cool, in my opinion. One of the very few green dials I like.

As much as I love my BB58, and I know it looks better without a date, but I'd have gotten it with a date if it was offered. It's super practical. Not for diving, but, I'm not diving.

New DW-6900 crazy color with a bezel and strap/bracelet swap. It's big, it's bright, my kiddo will love it.

I think I remember you saying something about a SkyD 3 or 4 years ago. Is that how long you've been waiting for one?

    -edit-

didn't realize the jubilee has been an option that long.

Neither choice would've been wrong. Love the movement in these. Don't think SkyDs get appreciated for the right reasons.

Setting the watch is actually really nifty and satisfying. I think there is a perpetual sometime in my future, but annual is pretty amazing

Pre-pandemic, they could not give them away. I was offered one circa 2017 and thought, Meh, it's a big datejust with a few extra complications.

And I even have the wrist, 7.75", to pull off that 42mm beast of a watch without any "wrist overhang" that most people experience.

Maybe where you live. We've never been able to keep that watch in stock for a minute. Even back to the very first one. So much so that I've only ever held one in hand at the store once and that was on a day that I happened to be there when a shipment came in.

Of all complications my favorites are annual or perpetual calendar or travel time.
