edit... err, information trickling in still. Seems that the person who set up the charitable account is being sued (likely by one of the parents of the offending [and offensive] children), not her directly.

If this was one of my children (I don't have any) I would throw him or her off a cliff and then jump myself.

A beatdown, harsh punishment, theats-these are the instinctive reactions I shared. But I really do think that's a kneejerk reaction that has never proven effective. It's fed the appetite for revenge, but never made things better.
I'm not convinced the kids are unrepentantly evil. We've certainly seen examples of people committing more evil destructive acts, develop remorse, reform, and become better people. With a little effort and creativity, I think it's possible to give the kids a chance to really see how their actions were hurtful. Maybe the kids have grandparents who they actually like. If the kids could imagine this happening to their grandparents, or their siblings, they might see the light. Giving up and writing them off as lost causes so early on is the lazy way out. I'm not saying treating them with kid gloves and a simple timeout is the answer, but I'd hope adults have the ability to guide not only the well behaved, but also guide the misguided.
