Default Framebuilders And Their Workspaces atmo -

You Won't See THIS On VeloNews atmo -

Framebuilders And Their Workspaces is an intimate look at the workspaces of the builders and the psychology of the space. It is a portrait of the builder as the space they occupy. There are few photos of bikes and even fewer of the builder. The focus is the space that the builder sees every day with all its texture and given light.

More an artist's book than a commercially printed publication, the pages contain photographs by artist Justin James King, illustrations by Chris McNally and is produced by Andrew Crooks (of NYC Velo). A series of volumes will cover builders from different geographic locations around the U.S. A limited edition of sample books have recently been printed and released, with more information on the final book to follow in the coming months.

Do they send princesses or something? I've always wanted to meet a duchess.

While being an ex-Serotta Production WonkTM may be one of the least of Justin King's credentials, it is at least one of them, not to mention his being one of the more skilled bike riders to have worked there.
