Damn that show and damn netflix. You can watch episode after episode despite having lots to do. I've settled on being busy while my wife watches an episode and I get the three minute update.

You've just described my yesterday. We watched the first six episodes of Season 1, with short breaks in between, while a huge pile of work went undone.
I was a little disappointed that we didn't knock out the entire season in one day, but it was getting late...

I must admit, we too are hooked on Downton Abbey. The wife got me hooked. Season 1 Episode 3 is what we got through last night. I don't really watch TV but I am actually looking forward to watching more tonight. Damn netflix.
