    Default Practice Lugs

Going to post these here as they aren't moving in the "regular classifieds" and I don't want to cast them out to eBay.

I bought these off of Mr. Sachs years ago and got a little less stupid with some before brazing a few frames. Now I'm sitting on them and figure I'll pass them along to someone else looking to learn how to see flux and filler and shorelines and such.

First off-these were sold to me for practice and I intend they get sold for the same purpose. Don't be a dick and make frames out of them...karma and all. There are eight "sets" of OS lugs that will let you mitre up tubes, braze them together, and cut them apart with a saw to see how you've done. included are 11 additional "random" lugs to practice on.

One OS Pacenti Bottom Bracket purchased new (round CS) is fair for framebuilding.

Make it $250 shipped. I'd like to keep it all together to simplify things.

Just curious... what makes these practice lugs, and therefor unsuitable for using them for a frame? As you stated, many of these lugs are from Mr. Sachs. Were they for some reason less than perfect from the casting house, but still usable for practice? Just asking.

    Thank!

Mostly they were not matching. A couple had some odd casting issues but you could fill them or tile them if you were so inclined. If you wanted to you could make a frame, but they were sold with the kindest of intentions and I dont intend to take those intentions and profit off of them.

Neither do I... unless you count the profit of learning!
    Thanks!
