    Default The White T-Shirt

I'm a pretty lucky guy, I work from home and if I am not traveling this means I dont shave and I wear t-shirts and jeans. I pretty much wear white plain T-shirts which I buyin "bulk" at one time wear til they wear out then buy another seven or so white T-shirts.

Anyway, I ready to buy another cohort of white T-shirts. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a great quality brand of the classic white T-shirt for me. Love to read your thoughts and suggestions........

I agree about American Apparel*. For non-undershirt tees, my go to is Merona - the Target brand. They are adequate and cheap. Size down one full size from your Assos jersey size.

    * except the track jacket. I have a five-year old AA track jacket and I still love it.

Lasts as long as a white t-shirt stays white, though...then- shop rags.

I bought a whole bunch of Calvin Klein ones at TJMaxx for like $0.75. OK, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but they were way cheap and the quality is as good as I've seen for PWTs. And they're always there, at least at my TJMaxx.

I bought about 8 Target t-shirts about a year ago in various shades of gray and blue for $4 each. More than sufficient, especially if you work from home and no one is ever going to see you.

If those are both XXXL with bleached, pressed and starched tees I swear I see you everywhere.

Any one tried the Flint and Tinder stuff? I was turned onto them a bit ago while shopping for US made underoos. I have yet to purchase, but their store is now up and running.

White t-shirt. I haven't owned a white t in years (white clothing is not compatible with my lifestyle).

Kirkland Ts from Costco are the best all-around white T I have found as of late. Very similar to the Beefy Ts but a longer and a slimmer cut. Plus they have a nice, tall and snug collar which is also an important consideration. They are $17.00 for a pack of four here Canada...

I didn't want to do it, but it had to be done.

Some things in life are a gamble. A white t-shirt is a very low stakes purchase. Don't over-think it.
