I don't know seller, just amazed at the work that went into it.

Hey guys that's my jig:)
Thank you for the nice comments above
I decided to take down the auction. Overwhelming quilt set in fast after fellow framebuilders started contacting me asking me wtf man?
Long story short my job that pays(lots of overtime), kids, and new baby has led me no choice but to put my framebuilding on hold for the time being. It's been an emotional roller coaster for me. I love building bikes but my family is first..
I was using an engine stand as a base for a few years and hated it! It was very difficult to TIG weld in awkward spots while trying to maintain aesthetically pleasing weld quality. I wanted to be able to sit or stand and position the frame around me not the other way around. Then the counterbalanced arm thing came into my head..ha It only got more complicated from there. It works awesome but takes up a lot of real estate in the shop.
I've been a machinist by trade for 15 years now and its certainly helped me to create all this, but being passionate about it is key:)
Thanks,Rory
Good to hear this^^^^I decided to take down the auction.
Just from my own experience....I have sold things in the past only to wish to have them back down the road. Congrats on the new addition! As we all know, raising children is hard work. So for now push that awesome jig to the side, take care of your family and soon things will begin to even out, then the creative juices will start to flow again.

good decision. I just saw a thread about your frames on mtbr, and then I saw this auction and I was floored.
