new fillet being polished, old fillet that underwent big-time testing - years of mountain biking followed by riding the entire Silk Road from the Straights of the Bosphorous to Tienamen Square, Beijing and more mountain biking only to be slammed into an overhead garage. It will live again!
The old fillet held perfectly, even with a .049" thick toptube and an 1.5" x .035" downtube.

My friend Gina's battle with breast cancer has taken an isidious turn for the worse. I've been working a few minutes a day on my own work commuter and Gina inspired the few moments pictured below. I usually use a 5/16 hole to vent the ST/TT junction but this felt right. Gina has an unmatchable faith in God, strength and courage to rival any hero, and she wraps it all in a vulnerability that makes us all look less human. I'm inspired.
Cali bound Titanium Road Bike set up for long reach brakes and fenders, Firefly Seatpost, Ti King Cages, hot off the press Serotta Rapid Tour fork (Thanks Ben):
Mister Dangerpants stuff:
Cool one in the works:
Tuesday was our one year anniversary. We took some time to pop the cork and finish solidifying our 1, 2 and 3 year business plan. Boy does time fly and judging by the way things are going this year is gonna fly by as well. Always looking forward... never looking back.
Been a busy week(s), Got the Gravel crusher back from powder yesterday and started the build at 4:30 am.
Gonna flog it but good in the morning. Fenders are a little high but its to fit 45's, it has 35's right now.
Alot of the week was spent finishing the crepe cart, wouldn't you know it- I got a funky tube of caulk that won't dry, i'll clean it out and re-do it in the afternoon. Untitled by Huckleberry cycles, on Flickr
