It´s so big and deep and smart and inspired. The man knows! And he is made from everything we have ever said... So wise. So sharp.

slow.
I like Dylan, but I also Like Mitchell.
Great poets both.
The release of the new song, and this thread, became a tickle to rewatch the Scorsese film “Rolling Thunder Revue” which is now on Netflix. Amazing stuff.
And the poet thing is right but it is also so cool to see Dylan talking about Ginsburg and Kerouac and the difference of poetry and songwriting.
So much great stuff in the film from President Carter talking about growing up in a farm land owning family and never really appreciating the difference between land owners and those that work the land until he listened to Dylan singing “Maggie’s Farm” to Sharon Stone talking about wearing a Kiss teeshirt to a Dylan concert at the age of 19 and Dylan going deep on the origins of Kabuki.
Watch it. And listen to the new song.

Will see if his new tune is up on YouTube yet.
Not hard to find.
My opinion? Meh.
It's maybe a bit more clever than Don McLean's "American Pie" (which I could gladly never hear again!), but maybe not. A collage of quotes without much organization or context. I can see why he hadn't bother releasing it before.
GO!
It was an OK tune yet cannot envision it becoming iconic or anything. Thanks for posting it, @davids.
I would have had to search on "Dylan new song" or similar as I was unfamiliar with the new song title.
