Red Painted Concrete Floors

I've been to a few people's shops and noticed that they were painted red.
Never thought much of it but then I saw it in a few photos online.
Is there any reason for this color choice or was it just a trend?

I'll hazard a guess and say it's easier to find small dropped parts. Metallic parts would be more difficult to see with gray or black floors, and white wouldn't stay clean for more than a day.

Easier to hide drippings from bloody nose. :)
