    Default Opening Day

Good luck to your team this year . . . unless your team is in the NL Central and is not the Reds. In that case, your team sucks.

    I love this day.

Good luck indeed! My approach to the 2011 season is to pretend I don't care so my housemate thinks that for every 3 hours of the yankees he puts on, we'll have to watch 3 hours of cycling.

    Go Mets!

ps. I really do care. But I'm having no illusions about my amazins this time.

I finally admitted to myself this winter that my 10 year old Yankee cap needed to be retired and I have been feverishly breaking in the new one for the last month.
Expect a big year from Cano, and Swisher.

    Let's Go Yankees.

    my name is Matt

42* and rain slated for the first pitch here in the tri-state area, with similar forecast for tomorrow. Was on the bike last night from ~9-11PM and got snowed on...

Lots of e-mails around the office looking to unload Yankees tickets.

    Perhaps.

There was a period of time from July-September last year where Rollins, Utley and Howard were all intermittently on the DL. Phils were something like 40-17 during that period.

And, until the All-Star break last year Jamie Moyer was arguably the second starter.

Is Chipper Jones going to be healthy?

All Giants. All day, all night, all nice.
    Unless it's the A's. Then go A's.
    I smell another Giants v. A's Series!

Every other team is playing for rrunne rup to the Red Sox this year.

They are healthy, loaded, and looking sharp. There will be an AL MVP and CY winner along with golden gloves on this team. As good as money in the bank!

I'm still carrying a grudge from '94. Which isn't all that heavy because the Royals do a great job of helping me carry it each year.

My sons got a PS3 for Christmas and I have a Roku box in the bedroom. We cut off cable for the house last month but for 99 bucks for the year we have the steaming MLBtv package that works on those devices (and the computers) and it rocks!

Most any live game...Archived games... quality is great and nothing like it was when 'trying' to watch it streaming on a computer a few years ago. Lots of the broadcasts are HD and look great on the big plasma.

Now if I can just make some time in the day/evening to watch more...

Oh yeah and college baseball is starting to really get rolling too so lots of live ball around here....

    Baseball Fever... Catch it.

How 'bout my boy Chris Young last night?

5 1/3 innings, 7 K's, one earned run, forced Howard into a ground out with bases loaded, and also happens to go 3-for-3 at the plate with an RBI, including a two-hit inning? Wow.
