Learning the macro function.
Almost done with this group of cross and dirt road bikes, which means a group of Max bikes coming up. Fun stuff.
A raw JKS Terraplane headed to JB and a painted JKS Classic on it's way to Taiwan.

The rock star is dying. And it's a small tragedy. Rock stars have blogs now. I have no use for that kind of rock star.

In honor of SOPWAMTOS there will be no paint this week since I do not apply it. Todd gets respect next week.
Suspension correct fork
Non suspension correct lugged fork
A cross bike that will be on display at Eurobike in the Enve booth.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

First posting in a while. I've been test riding more than building. Photos of carbon frame #2 below. It uses a Chris King InSet, Shimano BB86 and internal Di2 wiring. It's taken a lot of use and some abuse for 4-5 months now with no issues. Gives me confidence going into the next builds which will have full finish and logos.

To offset Drew, I offer a rare Edoz with paint.

In Before the Lock
Another frame done. This one uses Dazza's Cadenzia XL lugs, and Columbus Life tubing.
This is the second frame I've done for someone else - a friend Ben, who is chaffing at the bit to get his shiny new frame :)
Paint is Imron epoxy primer, followed by half a dozen coats of Auto-air semi-opaque, and then four coats of DeBeer urethane clear.
Here's a photo of Dazza's gorgeous Cadenzia headlugs, just after having cutouts added:
The next frame is already underway - this time I'm using Dazza's Custodian lugset, again with some customisation, and this time in shiny stainless steel, because I just don't know how to say no, and my fingers aren't sore enough already. Here's progress so far - lugwork and the beginning of a fork:

We've got a new toy to play with
A custom made tube bender so we can do our own bending of rear ends to both our MTB's and revamped CX bikes.
I can't find the instructions anywhere to use though
Cheers,
Jared

First Friday Night Lights for me... Here goes -
This is a commuter I'm building for a customer (or a few photos of what I've done at least):
Re-shaped Pacenti Artisan lugs
Pinned & half-way fluxed
Seatstays capped
Seat lug in place & cleaned up
Seat stays test-fitted, just sitting in place for now

This is what is in the jig right now - a 29er 1x9 - but today sees assemble of a 29er 1-speed and a 29er touring bike. We'll see those here next week - Garro.

Busy week in the shop, but still managed to go on a long ride and hit the water for some fishing with a dry fly.
I will have a shop styled display in the front window of Radish Underground all month. Swing by and check it out if you are kicking around downtown Portland.
The start of some lugs I carved up for the display:
Another Stainless Newvex road frame ready for paint (sorry for the crappy phone photo)
And some Bi-laminate action. The bike in front is a commuter for a tall guy with every bell and whistle, behind it is a one-off 29er that will be for sale on my site once finished.
Off to sit in the sun, have a great weekend!

Working on a maxed out sdandard reach road bike and Oregon Manifest sidecar action (no pics, but just sayin' so you can feel my pain)
