    Default Boston Area Brazing Suppliers

Does anyone have a go-to in the Boston area for picking up brazing supplies? I need some brass filler and flux to finish up a project and would love to shop locally.

As an aside to most of you buy online, direct from manufacturer, or locally?

    Thanks!

Parker- Gas Flux CO4 is real popular brass (bronze) rod. It's possible that your LWS could order some from GF but I suspect that the cost/quantity will be unpleasant. Many of us go through Henry James Home : Henry James Custom Made Parts For Bicycle Frame Builders and Bike Enthusiasts. Hank also stocks their type B flux which many find real nice too. Hank is use to dealing with smaller orders and is a real source of information besides the tubes, lugs, tools and consumables they sell. Andy.

Cycle Designs is nearby. Not driving distance but Wade is a knowledgeable fellow in the bike industry and in your neck of the woods.
