Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?
Sleep Union is a band out of Denver. There's a little bit of Jawbreaker, Leatherface, Gaslight Anthem and Saddle Creek in it.
One of the guys is a long lost friend from highschool. We've been out of contact for 20 years -- he just popped up out of nowhere and dropped this into my lap.

NPR's 'Tiny Desk' series has a lot of good stuff. Here's a few I like. I may have posted some (or all) of these already....but that's okay.

Here's something different. First heard about him on The Bitter Southerner :: For God & Country: Abe Partridge — THE BITTER SOUTHERNER

Moratorium on scruffy white guys with acoustic guitars.
And that stomp clap stomp clap thing that every other song has.

I don't think Yow exposes himself this time ...
And I wish this guy would make a psychedelic rock album
Auk's words to live by:
Blow up and pin a picture of M. Bartoli on your wall. When you achieve that position, stop. Until then, stretch, ride, stretch, ride, eat less, and ride more.
Good week for this.

I saw Treat Her Right at a dorm party at MIT in 1986 and they absolutely tore the roof off. He had the same energy in Morphine, just packaged/expressed in a more sophisticated way. I saw some video from when Vapors played the Middle East the other night, and, no offense to those guys whatsoever, because I'm glad they're keeping the music alive, but the X factor that Sandman brought to that band was huge and irreplaceable. Solange. A Seat at the Table. An album meant to be heard start to finish, in order, over and over, just like they used to be.

I don't use my car much but when I do I often listen to Panda Dub these days.
