Cycling diet.
Cottage cheese for dinner, Greek yogurt for dessert, eat that everyday an' it will make your butt hurt.
I'm having flashbacks. This guy was a childhood hero and I never even knew his name: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/13/ar...ies-at-67.html
And my favorite:
Damn I loved that song when I was ten. Pure pop for now people.
GO!
...and while I'm reliving my single-digit years:
You would not believe how good this sounded through a bakelite tabletop radio.
GO!
Surf's up, dude.
I read a while ago where Tegan and Sara issued a public statement about how people should boycott OFWGKTA because their lyrics "promoted" violence against women. It really struck me as an ignorant statement. I got to thinking about famous musicians/ songs about killing women; and why Tegan and Sara decided to to single out this group.
The list reads something like this:
"Hey Joe"- Love, Hendrix, et al
"Via Chicago," "She's a Jar"- Wilco
"Rowboat"- Beck, Johnny Cash
"Possum Kingdom"- The Toadies
"Hazard"- Richard Marx
About half of all blues music.
It occurred to me that perhaps what Tegan and Sara were really saying is that a) they don't think young urban audiences can differentiate between art and real life and that's pretty fucked up, or more likely b) they're jealous of the success and attention and didn't think too hard before opening their mouths/ laptops.
Anywhosers, here's another great song about killing a woman.
Art ain't real life, y'all.

we had an incredibly beautiful wknd here in maine this wknd. sat am a lovely lady and i took a power boat from camden to swan's island and spent the nite. then back the nxt day. we took our time so 3+ hrs each way. its like another world up there. island after of island of old growth pine, rocky beaches, cliffs, and we saw almost no one! lots of big beautiful sailboats here and there in the distance but thats about it. and swan's island is just incredible. we had hot wind and calm seas, not a cloud in sight. just beautiful! i can't recommend traveling to this area enough. onboard we had mimosas, beers, iced coffee, various snacks and spf. we had tunes as well including this one which is new to me and i'm addicted. anyone who wnts a tip or info to get up in this area and see what all the fuss is about just let me know. stunning scenery and again the best part-no people!!

Catchy tune!
Picked up my tickets to go see Jeff Tweedy play at the Hawaii Theater next week. The folks at the box office have no idea how this show is being promoted, as they expected to have sold a bunch more tickets by now. My coworker told me about it this morning. Should be a good show.
