Going to see Mark Olson from The Jayhawks in a "house concert" tonight down the road from our house. We have a couple of local music enthusiasts who pull in musicians for small venue events in their home. Thanks Little Pond Presents and my wife for the surprise!

Second entry...I decided to bail on tomorrow's road race. Too much stuff to do in the afternoon to drive 2 hours away to race all afternoon. But that means it's suddenly the off season!!

After 20 years with the same mediocre mattress (yeah, I know), and two months on the floor with a camping pad, I took the plunge: a platform kit, a mattress "bag", 200 pounds of organic latex foam, some outrageous cotton and linen sheets, and... I wish I had done it 20 years ago. Absolutely worth every penny of the ridiculous price. Do it!

just had a neighbor ring doorbell with a wrong delivered mail.., chloe barked -- even left her early health dinner while we are home alone.. Tammy remains in kennesaw ga smiling with our baby, now a mother learning to comfort her new born baby..

a $500 refund from our auto insurance for the deductible relative to/by a non-insured ass-ending her at a stop light last january..
guess they collected their $4000 --- damn bmw suv rear bumper pad is expensive..

now, do i tell her or into the fund-of sneak!?

My brother and this family have been staying with us for the last month while waiting to close on their new home.
They closed yesterday!

I'm going riding with a couple friends I haven't seen in a while on Saturday morning, then head north to Charleston, SC to relax and visit family. Have a great weekend everyone.

Cleared my calendar of family responsibilities and the girlfriend's birthday bash (3 days long).
So it's officially Artie's weekend.
Hot dates with the bikes on tap.
Tomorrow: rolling the lugged bike to welcome a riding buddy back to town.
Sunday: either a fast group ride or a gravel bender in the Everglades. Boo-yah!!!

Tried my first Superior Court jury trial this week. Good outcome and I beat the other side's expert. Going to see both my boys row at the Head of the Fish this weekend.
