Company needs have dominated my time for weeks. Then, this week, I donated a late night to a group of students--and now I'm excited to get back to work on my own plans.

It's friday. The sun is shining, it's warm and the start of a three day weekend.
Stay warm and safe guys and gals. Hug those loved ones.
Today, it is 9 degrees. Tomorrow, I leave for 8 days in LA. Sunday, it will be 85 degrees in LA.
Also, tacos/chilaquiles/tortas nom nom nom nom.
I am on my way to Nashville. Three day weekend partying with my two oldest friends.
I can't complain.
Just back from the knee doc, I had little twinge that was bugging me though has since subsided. 3 of my ski friends have suffered: ACL, ACL/MCL, ACL/MCL/Meniscus injuries already this Season, surgeries all around, so I figured I'd get a look. Thumbs up! A very minor irritation worth monitoring, but otherwise strong as a bull. "Strength, muscle, and mobility are your friends, and you've got each in spades, keep doing what yer doing". Done! Very pleased and ready to rip it up this wknd!

Heading up to the mountains tomorrow to take my boys skiing for the long weekend.
Been a rough week and we're far from out of the woods, but was able to at least have another week with this tough guy.

My world is bubbling with goodness. Today I'm thankful for blue sky's, a wife that rocks my world, kids I'm proud of, desmodromic valves, the four pounds I've lost, plasma donors, optimism, friends and all the people I've ever met who have made the world a better place.
I am happy to be home in snow-choked Boston after two days in weather-delayed travel purgatory.
I got to spend a wonderful evening with my wife before she jetted off to visit her mom.
I'm going to see what promises to be an engaging, provocative one-man show tomorrow night.
I'm going to see Sleater-Kinney Sunday night.
GO!
My daughter might finally be released from the hospital this weekend. Fingers crossed.
My beautiful wife of 27 years has been a rock throughout this experience.
My 2 other children have made their way back home from college to see their little sister.
I’m truly blessed.
My meds are starting to help the sinus infection and for the first time in 5 weeks I can breath through my nose. It's the little things, at this point.
I have a couple of awesome packages showing up today. Bike toys rule.
I'm about to seal the deal on N+1. It's not what I had planned on and I can't effing wait. And the best part is that I won't have to because it's already built. Oooohhh boy.
My sister's 40th birthday party is tomorrow and I'm in charge of beer. I thinking 2 cases of carefully selected craft and imports should suffice.
I'm going to Parachute (restaurant) tomorrow.
Finally almost done with all the bike maintenance I've been meaning to do.
3 day trip to Portland next week (albeit for work.)
Riding outside again seems imminent.
my name is Matt
On top of my daughter, my 80 year old dad was just released from the hospital: heart AMFIB. He’s good to go too!
A heartfelt THANKS to all the ‘Salon, for the best wishes and letting me vent.
I am starting my shrimp stock for a creole. One of my favorite dishes to cook and eat.
life is too short to drink bad wine....
Stuart Levy
I'm headed to Stu's place for dinner.
Rode the bike to work today. Got rained on. Got baseball game to see tonight. All is good.
Best I've got today... it's Friday, which means I don't have to come back to this particular brand of purgatory for the next two days. I did get a lunch ride in, which was good (in spite of the rain), but the phone call while I was in the locker room (from the place looking at my car) was a total buzz-kill. Looks like my car isn't even worth fixing. Guess my weekend plans just changed...
