Great shots, gang.
Went surfing
Raced bikes
Left DC, Moved to Chicago

Scared some sheep
Went to France
my name is Matt
Park City. About 1/3 of the way into a 6 hour ride with guys I've been riding with since the late 1980s.
Rolling the Strong Ti Hardtail through mid-mtn area at Deer Valley. That Carl dude builds a nice bike.
Old town looking out from the Gambel Oak trailhead. We walked up to watch the PCP2P race and Jan was taking pictures. She ended up sitting there for a couple hours and posted up a ridonculous number of photos.
That Drew guy built me one heck of a nice cross bike. Will be racing it next year in the New Jersey area races. Cross is meant to be a fun fall activity for me. Will be looking for beer handups as opposed to results.
The dog loves snow.
Boy, to be that happy all the time would be something eh? Look at that face!!
First year for the new race team. Here are a bunch of us at the NJ State ITT Championships.
Me after surviving a very rare criterium appearance. I do mostly TT's but there was a 3 week gap with no ITTs so the boyz talked me into doing a crit with them. I spent most of the race trying to bust off the front:
Another team shot post crit. The young lady poking in on the left is the race promoter and happens to be getting married this afternoon.
Can you name the rider above (from Jersey Shore ITT 2011)??
Last one of me TTing. My wife's team kit as our new stuff had not arrived yet.
Me starting Middlebury Gap, I think. But VT for sure.
Susan and I got married this past year. Here we are at the scene of the crime with David and Julie. David on his own in Chicago, and we caught Julie on a midterm break from her Peace Corps gig in Namibia.
Started the year by spending January in Pariis

and Istanbul.
Came home and learned to skijor.
Right after the snow melted the dog and I headed up the Boundary Waters for a week.
Spent most of the summer riding dirt.
In late fall we left the city and moved out to a little lake

where my dog has been teaching me to hunt the local pheasants

and we've gradually watched it become winter again.
Eff, tried to use Flickr to make Darren happy and all I'm getting is blue Xs. Now I can't edit. Anyone have the power-knowledge to help me out here?

It's been a big second half of the year for me and my special lady:
After 5 years of living and teaching in NYC we drove our stuff back to the West Coast, including the cat. Medicine Bow, WY.
We got hitched near the Sisters Wilderness in Oregon...
and, are now traveling around South America:
Quito, Ecuador from the bell tower of the Basilica
Laguna Quilotoa.
Tungurahua erupting. Unfortunately we couldn't see it but we sure could hear it!
Top of Cotopaxi.
Ceviche!
Llanganuco valley with part of the northern peak of Huascaran (I think). Cordillera Blanca, Peru.
First day of riding in the last couple months. Outside Huaraz, Peru.
(Toots, please turn editing back on. Sorry for making a mess of the board, but it's tough to avoid when I can't fix my mistakes. Please delete my failed post above.)
