I don't know if the Tanita does this...

but my friend's Withings scale recognizes him or his wife automatically.

I'm not too happy with the measurement on my Healthometer. My wife and I have to push different buttons, too. And the initialization/reading takes too long.

It is a neat feature. You need about a 5 pound differential between users else you have to stand on either your left or right foot to assign the data to the correct user. Easy-peasy.

    This morning's readings: 132.3 / 7.5%

Holding at 185, dunno BF%. Still riding lots due to warm weather here in Mass. Got thru t-giving and looking to get thru remainder of holdays ok. This is going to be the first Spring in years that I can hit the ground running already close to 180-ish weight target for early season. Looking to hit 175 or so by March.

At first winter "training camp" solo and left the scale home on purpose...I'll know soon enough what a 26 hour week does to the body.

Watch Fathead the movie by Tom Naughton, makes a lot of sense to me. It can be watched free on hulu.com. Good luck!

I'm the FATTEST I have ever been in my life thanks to 8 weeks stuck on the floor and on drugs that I couldn't eat only 1200 calories a day on.

169 with 9.1% body fat according to my new home Tanita (as recommended by TooTall). Guessing I'm more like 12-14% from a pinch test. I would love to get a DEXA scan one of these days.

Shooting for under 6% body and a weight around 155. MAN-OREXIA HERE I COME (again).

Santa brought me a Tanita scale, and it revealed I'm carrying around 22.6lbs of fat. Ouch.

    185.2 / 12.2

We polished off the goose and Christmas chocolates last night, so it's time to get back on track and lose those last 11lbs.

That combination of the dark and cold time of year and chocolate is deadly. I made it through and stayed under 137 (just barely 136.2 today) despite polishing off a 1lb chocolate bar I got for x-mas. The card said it was from Santa, but I suspect e-richie sent it, trying to derail me.

Maybe my Healthometer is reading correctly and I just need to revise my idea of what skinny really is... I feel pretty skinny with the scale only now reading just under 12% consistently but I would like to know what 6 – 9% looks like... ssheesh

Just back from a tour of lower New England over the holidays. Despite a couple Belgium beers and some desserts apparently didn't gain or lose any weight. How about that eh?

I know exactly what you mean. My current 12.2% is scrawny compared to my peers. When I do hit my goal weight, people are going to worry about my health.
