earthquake?

In my 6th floor office in Cary, NC I definitely felt it. Lasted long enough for me to decide it had to be an earthquake. They were washing the windows in our building earlier yesterday and I had already heard one thud and looked up to see a guy hanging on the side of the building. That was my first thought. I did tell a co-worker that is was either an earth quake or an alien invasion.

The earth quake was a first for me. My kids had just been delivered to Atlanta and Nashville for college a few days before. I think they felt they missed out.

I was on my bike just passing Ballston Lake in upstate. I had done some bike maint before riding and I thought I had forgotten to screw something down because it just sort of felt weird all of a sudden. I actually stopped and looked stuff over, that weird. I was muttering to myself I didn't know how to ride any more because I changed line without meaning to.

Supposedly we felt it up here in Portland but I was drooling too much over the CX bike I'm building for D2R2 to have felt anything!
