Auto. Brown vinyl interior. Why I let them sell it when I was 13 instead of parking it in the barn for three years I'll never understand.

Love our Volvo, but it looks like I'll be visiting TN when I find a clean Land Cruiser FJ60 ready for a Cummins B3 transplant!

My FJ-62 = best vehicle I've ever owned. It has NEVER let me down. Oh the memories...I brought my wife, and both of my kids home in it.

I tried to sell it last fall - decided after the first person came out to look at it that I wasn't ready to let go yet.

Sorry, didn't mean to derail the thread with mention of my FJ60 dream diesel.

    Let's go back to Volvos . . . mudding with the diesel XC70 D5!

Bill where the heck do you get that!!! XC70 D5, sweet baby jebus. I've been holding out for these to finally get imported. Our XC is going strong but we really want a stick and better mileage.

I think the Volvo motors are pretty good, not sure why you'd need a GM motor... the Noble M600 is using a tweaked Volvo V8 from an XC90 generating 650 brake horsepower. Now if one of you guys wants to figure out how to stuff that under the hood of my C30 I'll pay you for it. I don't know how the transmission will hold up but I think it'll be fun for at least a little while.

Good God man, your vehicular tastes are after mine own heart. I'm all about the FJ62/65 - EXCEPT for the fuel economy. Diesel swap and it'd be pretty much my dream vehicle. I'd trade the 245 for one in a heartbeat, she don't do so well when it comes to fulfilling my offseason dreams of vanishing in the Maze for a month.
