This; Winchester, Model 21, 12 ga, straight grip, splinter forend, rare

Off the Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company website, at; Shotguns For Sale, Purdey & Browning Shotgun, Double Barrel Shotguns | Connecticut Shotgun

1940's-made Winchester model 21. Shotgun fans KNOW. 12ga. IM/F choked. My new duck gun...if only. Just look at that thing. As beautiful, spare, reserved, and finely crafted as, say, some red/white bikes we could mention. No excess of curlyque engravings, overabundant checkering, or any of that poncy shite. Beautiful grain, lovely blonde wood. Minimalist and Purposeful.

Just waiting for a LSx and T56 transplant. Headers and 2.5" pipes to the back. Maybe some electric cutouts to annoy someone else's neighbors.

If we are going big block, may as well go for the 572 crate motor.

If you did the suspension as well you could recoup the cost of the resto by selling tickets for people to ride on the rear jump seats on a road course. My family took a trip to NYC when I was a kid and I loved riding in those things especially if the driver was a proper NY cabby who only knew two pedal positions ie. throttle matted or brake pedal matted.

So that's where my mom learned how to drive- damn. My wife and I went to visit my parents in Vermont and my mom was driving us around. I looked over at my wife and she was absolutely green- thought she was going to puke all over the car because of the way my mom drives.

    Red Wing 2922.

Because my parents' lab is staying with us this week, because he thinks he is entitled to bathroom breaks at 3am, and because I've got to have something to put on my feet while wearing a robe standing in my yard waiting for a dog to piss in the middle of the night and it's below zero. Yeah, I'm that guy, and my slippers aren't getting the job done.

    Nice.

Living in the grouse woods, I'm also attracted to this 20 gauge skeet gun: Winchester Model 21, 20ga, 26”

I inherited a Winchester Model 52 Sporter from the same era and while maybe not as rare as those two shotguns it is still really nice. Someone would have to give me an over the top offer before I considered parting with it.

I learned to shoot on a Win 52. What a tank. Nice rifle.

That's a solid rifle. Hold on to it. Not fetishized like a pre-1964 Model 70. A fine 22LR platform. One can actually do quite a number of good things with a nice .22

SVX, luverly! Given the choice I think I'd like to get my mitts on a 110 TD5. I drove one during an off road driving course a couple of years ago and it made both my defenders (the 84 hybrid pictured above and my 94) feel like steam powered tractors.
