Wolves are on Gilt right now, though they only have singles and triples, but you know you are eventually going to buy another watch, right?

For half the money, you can get whatever they have at Costco.

Rocket Redbox Two-tone Rosewood Double Watch Winder

They are quiet, and when they die (which they will) Costco offers lifetime returns. One of mine from Costco is just starting to make a squeaking noise and will be going back, but I'll just swap it out for a new one.

    Membership has its rewards...at Costco.

I've had this one for about 2 months now....it's become my favorite.

Way above my league, but I saw the new Tudor Pelagos, that thing is 50-shades of badass. Dig the titanium case and lumed bezel.

I'm generally not a Rolex man, but the Pelagos ticks a bunch of boxes for me. The beautiful ti case and nifty bracelet are gorgeous. My biggest problem is the price, it's a bit steep for the rather pedestrian ETA movement. It feels to me like it should be $1500 cheaper than it is.

I'm with you. I don't generally like Rolex's, and REALLY don't like snowflake hands. But there is a je ne sais quoi about this Pelagos. The case is beautifully done (nicely beveled, etc) - I think it's the first Ti-cased 'Rolex' ever. Lumed ceramic bezel insert, the detail on the 12:00 bezel marker is brilliant (not a fan of raised pips), bracelet is fantastic, etc, etc. A lot of boxes are checked here.

It is over-priced, but I buy used watches so the market will get the price sorted.

Anyway, I'll never be able to afford one but I do think it's brilliantly done.

I hadn't paid much attention to Tudor over the last few years, but I recently spent some time on their site and that Pelagos really jumped out at me. I also really like the Heritage Advisor. Totally different look, but I dig it. I've found that with Rolex, it's a matter of finding one that suits you. The construction is top notch, and combined with the right model, many people go from anti- to pro-. I'm biased, though. Here's that Heritage Advisor...

That's funny, I greatly prefer the snowflake hands to the standard mercedes, if I never see another watch with mercedes hands it'll be too soon. I'm with you on everything else (bezel, case, bracelet). I think it's a super nice departure from the Submariner and all its endless clones. If cost were no object, I'd be standing in line for one, but cost is always an object.

That Lum-Tec is as close to a Grail Watch for me as it gets. Someday...just not today.

I'm checking out the Oris below. Anyone have any feelings on this brand or this watch. Good, bad, indifferent?

My brother is an Oris fan and I have seen his watches. They are very nice with well proven ETA and Valijoux movements. The red rotors are a very nice touch. The lume is nonexistent but the quality and details are exceptional. They are unsung watches. I really like the piece that you mentioned above.

I'm not entirely sure. I think so but I couldn't find one with the same dial on their site.

Did some digging. It's a Combat B2. That model is not available any longer. Love that face. Let the search begin.
