Definitely not high end but the Monitor Audio WS100s have to sound better than my Macbook's speakers and are way cheaper than Dynaudio Xeos.

I have and I'm sure they're fantastic but I prefer the Monitor Audios because I wouldn't need to buy a separate DAC unless I'm being a dope, which is entirely possible.

That's what makes them great! And yes, you should also wear the matching kit. Reenacting is ok, as long as it Mapei themed in my book.
