I was talking to a good friend of mine the other day, an ex pro and former national champ about weight loss. He's gone through the same thing as I have, getting 50 lbs over race weight and then losing most of it. His goal is to get to his old race weight again, although he's not racing yet. But we were both discussing how amazing it is, how strong and fit you can get in your late fifties. Neither one of us could have guessed such a thing was possible when we were in our 20's!
