I'm on the left.
GO!
Lumpy, I once had an Icelandic sweater just like the one you are wearing in that pic.
The obsession begins. 3 years old. My parents said I practically wore out the plastic tires on this bad boy...

1991 me and my lovely bride at the Fairway One house in Pebble Beach, the morning of our wedding party. She looks the same, I look a little different now. Still together. Been a damn good thing!

Christmas 1972.
I'm in the boots drinking a Rainier beer with my sister.
I just noticed she was smoking at the time.
Father and mother on the floor.
My older brother making a hand gesture.
Excuse the enthusiasm.
Yeah baby.

I sold a lot of the Big Wheel models at Sears.
They were hot in the early 70's.
Noisy little rigs, but good for skidding and sliding.
The crankless two wheelers of this generation are the real deal.
Balance and skills before pedaling appeals to this old guy.
Those Big Wheels also had a battery powered horn if I recall 50 yrs back.
Lay some plastic!

My teammate Jeff and I at the Carolina Cup in 1999. I'm on the left, Jeff's on the right back when I was in full Schleckian physique. Great for going uphill, horrid for sprints out of the corner in a crit. I forget who did the team kit order that year, but I remember them being 3/4 zip and being stoked about that. God we were stupid.
Not sure what I was doing in this pic but apparently I was very serious. (ca 1968)
