Got a great view from 30k feet last night on the way from CLT-GRR. No pics but it was great to see and all the pilots were talking about it. Sort of neat to have something different like that happen at work.

damn. bet that was a sight to see.
next time we want pics or else.

Did you fly in a big circle so everybody could see or was it one of those "This is your captain, you on the left side of the plane - tough bananas!"

Great night for viewing. I stayed up till about 10:00 when it was probably 1/2 covered but ran out of gas and headed for bed. A long weekend of running/hiking/riding will do that to me... Beautiful though.

My wife and I watched totality from our bed, then closed the drapes.

I love when the universe invites us to sit up and notice it.
