Re: "Mad Genius" Paul Budnitz does it again.
I just started ello...and THEN realized which Budnitz this was. Is it me, or is everything this guy touches well-designed, but well....sort of "precious?"
And I mean that in the designer sense. It's just too put-together...like some sort of manufactured hipster irony. Ello is the same way--they're trying to look like an old terminal display or programming IDE with the fixed-pitch font and weird spacing.
I mean, the damn bikes are lovely, but....damn it! Someone tell me what I should think!
EDIT: FORGET IT. I READ THE OTHER POST. Love the design, but Budnitz is pretty clearly a douche-nozzle.

Cycling isn't a sport. It's more like a really, really expensive eating disorder. (Mr. Tom, BikeForums 2008)

The bike story from the past (ripping off Williams, I think it was) defined him as a jerk IMO.
But he does have a knack for “making it”. An artist who actually isn’t starving.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?
