Luke, open a pic on Flickr, right click and select Large, right click and select view image, copy the address that ends in .jpg in you browser address bar. Now in VS click the Insert Image icon, select From URL tab, paste copied address, unselect Retrieve Remote File, and click Okay.

Clockwork... I opened a pic, right clicked and selected LARGE...then I cant seem to get passed that. I right click...and dont see that option. (View Image)
I tried copying several URLs but all were non jpg... and were deemed INVALID.
Thanks for the tutorial... I shall keep trying.

Alternatively, for posting pics from flickr, you can also click on the pic in flickr, click on share, then grab the html/bbcode, click the bbcode selector button thingy (technical term), select the desired size, then copy and paste the code into your VS thread post.

I have some minor places to touch up and re-fill. But overall the project has exceeded my expectations.
Something clicked tonight, and I was adding less material and getting it to wet out around the lug better. Practice, practice.

You keep going VRB, and I'll do the same.

Yeah, it's amazing how stuff ramps up. I noticed that I was concentrating heat on the lug TOO much. People kept emphasizing that, and I got paranoid about it. When I spend just a bit more time on the tube, the silver flows a thousand times better.

Roger! I pretty much have to, four hours of work away from finishing this and I've already bought parts for bike 3 ;-)

I was waiting until last nights session before ordering my parts for the build up...today I'll click 'SEND' on my goodies cart and make a call to my rep at Campy,
she may be getting Chorus 11. ;)

What amazes me is when your trying to get that silver to jump in there, and when you get everything 'just right' it rolls right in there and you can get it to chase the flame around
where you want it to go. It usually makes me smile just a bit...

What are you going to do for paint/finish?

Looking great. In your opinion, has the extra effort you did cleaning up the outside of the lugs before brazing been worth it or are you having to re-clean them up anyway after brazing?

Luke, the bike looks great. I am so envious. I wish I had time to work on my frame now. At least winter is almost here, so I will have some extra time without all the yard work on the acreage. I have been doing some metal work though, but is has been no where near bicycle work. I busted the front loader mount off of my tractor, and felt the original mount was under designed (its been repaired no less than 5 times in the last 2 years.) 3/8" thick 2"square tubing welded with 1/8" 7018 rod is what I have been working with.

Luke do you do your own finishing? With all the work you did I would suggest a nice two tone base clear rather than a powder coat. I like the polyurethanes over the standard enamels. A candy finish would really do this frame justice.

Oh, I don't have the components yet, I just have a lugset and everything for a fork, a bunch of brazeons.... I'm still deciding between sram and 105... or getting some used Ultegra 9 speed. I spent too much on silver, not TOO much left for new parts ;-)

I think the effort was worth it...not in a 'time saving' since, but it was practice working with the lugs. As I get better at brazing, less clean up is evident.
Now my clean up is extensive, but diminishes each session.
I would do again on the next frame and hope my clean up effort wouldnt equate in doing things twice.

Got it sorted out...now posting URL's via Flikr. (in the past was attaching directly after resizing)
Now much larger pics and easier to do.
    Thanks for the reply RS!

Laying out the brake bridge- 360mm off the axle center.
I flip-flopped the square both directions to get level center marks.
