Craig - your lady still in the BMW? Hows it holding up?

yup. it's a great car. no issues at all. we rented a newer four cylinder f30 320i and granted- it was a base model- but the differences were amazing. our 328 has such a higher level of fit and finish and there is no comparison when it comes to the steering feel between the new base model 3s and the older ones. the n/a six certainly isn't as economical as the new turbo fours but it is a much better engine. the new ones feel tremendously under powered no matter what you're doing. the flat six in our 328i isn't a performance powerplant by any means- but it's got enough power and it has its power and torque throughout the rev range. i mean- it's an automatic slush box base model 328- it's not a race car- but it feels like an expensive taught luxury sports coupe. the new one we tried just felt like a toyota or a Nissan. honestly- i'd take a new Hyundai over a new 320i any day.
Somewhat of a rat rod Bronco...lots of rust on her but we were near Cleveland.

First time I've seen a DB11 and in halloween orange to boot. It looks stunning in real life.

I drove the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio yesterday. Stock photo attached, the one I drove was the same beautiful metallic pearl white and had the same wheels. Holy forking shirtballs, what a car. I hesitate to call it an SUV because it's more like a big 4WD hatchback with ground clearance. In race mode it handles like a sports car, no discernible body roll. Car & Driver clocked it at 3.4 seconds from 0-60 and I believe it. It's just as quick as my boss's Tesla Model S in ridiculous mode or whatever it is, and it feels like a far better driving experience. Strong recommend on driving this one. I can't speak to reliability issues, though.

I saw a bunch of those on my recent trip to Europe. Apparently the more appropriate Stilfserjoch isn't quite as catchy as Stelvio as a name.....
The latest generation of Alfa Romeo vehicles is nice. I saw one in an airport on display recently and the wheels are way more outrageous in person than they are in pictures. I wouldn't want to break one or drive one on Midwestern roads. These are California or Florida-only cars from a wheel/tire combo I would think.
They do look nice though.

Blow up and pin a picture of M. Bartoli on your wall. When you achieve that position, stop. Until then, stretch, ride, stretch, ride, eat less, and ride more.
I give Telsa two years tops. The Taycan is going to obliterate them.
"As an homage to the EPOdays of yore- I'd find the world's last remaining pair of 40cm ergonomic drop bars.....i think everyone who ever liked those handlebars in that shape and in that width is either dead of a drug overdose, works in the Schaerbeek mattress factory now and weighs 300 pounds or is Dr. Davey Bruylandts...who for all I know is doing both of those things." - Jerk

I have two former interns that are now at Tesla doing manufacturing QC. I hear things...
Anyway, the Model S is now going on 7 years old. They can't afford to replace it. The Taycan will kill the Model S. Elon will kill the rest of the company.

Soooo many Teslas here, it's like a cult of something.

Thank goodness there are still the proud few who think that Elon is a small college in North Carolina.
