Nice. Need to see more angles.
Nice. Need to see more angles.
I believe this qualifies as more obtuse?
Looks great!

It's been a cracker of a watch so far. All the Omega bells and whistles these days on a turbo-charged Valjoux 7753: Silicon balance spring, column wheel, and the co-axial escapement.
Debating a Bund strap for it, but also painfully aware I am not Paul Newman or Steve McQueen.

It's chunky, no doubt about that, but I don't find it obnoxious. The tonneau case does a lot to keep it manageable on wrist. Honestly, the biggest thing I noticed is while the bracelet was amazing, it made the thing quite the tank. Swapping to a leather strap really helped make it more manageable.
Now, am I totally paranoid about dinging that sunray brushing on the case on literally any surface given how tall it is? Absolutely.
So it's chonky, but a manageable chonky, if that makes sense.
I've wanted one of these for the last several years. Sinn 856 UTC. Watchbuys sent me a back-in-stock notification Friday afternoon so I immediately pulled the trigger. Glad I did because they're sold out again. This watch lives up to the hype. It is the perfect everyday watch for me.

Classic pilot there Alex. Is that one of the tegemented treated bracelets or standard?
My real name is Hemanth and among other things, I like bikes
Fully tegimented. Ought to do the job well. I also got one of Sinn's Zulu straps.
I got me one of them. I do believe that it is the most legible watch I have. Love the dial so much more than I expected. Also the watch I’m least concerned about wearing. I really, really wish it had 22mm lugs, though.

finally hit on a titanium watch i like for riding. had been wearing a 42mm garmin, which the fit and comfort was excellent, but sick of needing to charge a watch at least once a week. titanium case really keeps the weight down and i dont even notice it on my wrist, perfect. likely a silicone dive strap coming soon, but for now, the leather is proving surprisingly durable even with daily riding and showering.
you know, i have never seen a cyclops like this before, it is on the opposite side of the crystal - so the top is completely flat. i would prefer it not be there either really, but since the surface is flat, it does not bother me much either. this one is a keeper for me.
haha, and with regard to the GMT: on all of my dual time watches, i set the second time zone to west coast time, since i'm generally there so frequently - i laughed when i set this one, since i have no idea when i'll be back to the left side anytime soon. i sure do miss california/washington/oregon. sigh.
