If the Bruins beat the Leafs, I'm taking away your moderator status.

    Go Leafs!

Yes, the Bruins are trying to cough it up. And the Red Sox are playing exactly as any New England native with any sense of history expects. They'll remember how to pitch just in time to almost but not quite catch, not even the cheap out trophy for participating aka the wild card slot.

    For Sale
Two tickets to Lightning Stanley Cup Finals
    Cheap

I am pretty sick over their demise. Questions on the coaches future are everywhere down here.

    Onward and upward!
    Bruins and Celtics.
Celtics should handle these guys... next round should be a good test.
Bruins we will see... Hopefully they can send the Leafs to vacation.

The Lightning... wow. Sometimes the switch just flicks I guess... Was not predicable.
You prob could have gotten 1,000-1 odds on that match up. Would be interesting to note if anyone anywhere bet on the blue.

Red Sox have regressed to pre 2000 era.
    Stayed pat. Look terrible.
From here they are looking like a sub 500 team.
Yes it's early. They have no solid pitching among the $90m starters.
They have holes in the infield...

Go Tampa! Their team payroll is less than the Red Sox 5 starters...
pay has zero to do with it.

Can not believe the lightning loss. Does open it up if the bruins can make it through the first round. I'm 50/50 on it. Both teams look very sloppy at times, I think the Bruins were the slightly better team last night, and luck was on their side, but easily could have gone the other way.

Also, Kadri is garbage and I'm glad there wont be the distraction of him coming back this series.

I don't totally disagree with your opinion on Kadri but that hit on Marleau class-less.

DCT said if Bruins beat Leafs he will buy me a 6 pack of Chimay.

If Leafs win I have a 6 pack of Bud Light I probably won't drink waiting to go somewhere.

I dont agree on the hit on Marleau, it wasnt late, it just was into the (rounded) corner glass. I still dont think players can be held accountable for design flaws of the rink, they are moving so fast. I also think it was par for the course (right or wrong) for that game.

It doesnt matter what I think though. I only have the one view of it after all. If Kadri thought differently he should have done pretty much anything else other than a cross check to the head and I would have thought it was silly, but thought nothing bad (other than what I already know) about him.

The players absolutely know that feature of the rink is there, although it's far less devastating than it used to be. I'm assuming you remember Chara's hit on Pacioretty.

You're right, definitely par for the course in that game. I liked Kadri's intentions to stand up for a veteran like Marleau but man, was his execution ever stupid. There are ways to send a message that don't put your team down for 5 minutes and you in the press box for the rest of the series.

OKC should trade the Panhandle to LA for Lebron.
