Shared Shop Space in Atlanta?
Hi all,
I used to rent a tiny corner of a shop in Redwood City to build steel bike frames, but have since moved to Atlanta. I have a jig, a tig welder, and a handfull of tools, and am searching for someone (with a mill?) to share their garage space, or to split the rent on a space or our own, or maybe another shop willing to rent me access. I haven't had much luck searching so far (at least not anything I can afford!) and hoped that perhaps someone here could point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
Marco

Re: Shared Shop Space in Atlanta?
Anyone, is there a better forum to post this question? It seemed like the right place (?) but I worry that I buried it in a not so easy to find location.
Thanks for the help all.

Re: Shared Shop Space in Atlanta?
Marco- It seems to me that the number of forum followers that also live near enough to Atlanta to make it worth their while to establish a shop there is pretty small. As in one hand or less. I could be wrong...
Have you tried the local cycling community yet? Is there a "Workspace" or MakerSpace" effort in the area? (The Rochester two such non profits both don't allow combustible gas or welding). How about the hobby machining guys. Sometimes fab shops or other businesses have extra space they don't use. I've known of a few artists that were looking for studio space. Andy
