    Default Buying new Paint Gun

    Hi!

I am looking to get a paint gun for shooting frames as I get my booth set up. I want to get something high quality and reasonably priced.

One recommendation that I got was the Iwata LPH80, this seems to be one of the higher end guns, any recommendations?

    thanks!

You can't go wrong with Sata or Iwata. I have the LPH80 and love it. Joe Bell advised me to hold the Sata and Iwata guns and choose which brand feels best in your hand. Both brands are industry standards.

I have a Sata Mini-jet and love it. The new model is even better than the old one, but you need to buy the aluminum cup for aNother $95, as the throwaway plastic cups are for the birds. For a primer gun, the $30 Harbor Freight HVLP detail gun is pretty decent. I also use a large, $10 Harbor Freight airbrush, it is economical on paint as is nice for paint repairs and smaller jobs, like a fork.

Make sure you have a decent regulator on your compressor line out.

    Good luck!
