Now that folks is service. Tip of the hat Mr. Garro.
It's great for both people - I get to measure him in person, and I get to hand it to him in person and eschew shipping costs and risks - man, that's pure gold across the board !!!!

I'm going to pick up mine in person. Might show up a day early to help assemble and stay a day after to "test ride" it on the AZ Trail.

The Rohloff system is great and keeps on rolling. I changed the oil in it three times so far, about every other year or so. Most recently it had a leak because the seals were not put back correctly, but the hub ran great despite low oil for a while. Now it is back to full lubrication and will go for another two years before next round of oil change.
And this is what I love about the Garro Process. It takes me back to the time I started riding and I'd order a grouppo and frame at the LBS and it would show up with hubs that a guy in a dirty shop apron would lace up to some kind of rim, usually something Wolber or Mavic. The bike that rolled out of the shop was built up completely by people in the shop. When I get my bike from Steve, it'll be just like that.
